The winners to the three-book giveaway of Bonnet Strings that I announced on January 22 have just been drawn. I am happy to announce the three winners are:
Doxiemutti
Wilma
Mary Ellen Wagler (because there was another Mary Ellen, I used your email to find out your last name. I hope you don’t mind).
To each of the winners: Please email me (salomafurlong@gmail.com) the mailing address where I should send your book, and let me know to whom I should inscribe it.
Happy reading! Should you feel so moved, I would very much appreciate your honest review of Bonnet Strings on Goodreads or Amazon or anywhere else where you feel comfortable.
I would like to thank all of you who left comments and entered the drawing for the books. I hope you will get a chance to read Bonnet Strings even if you didn’t win one of the books in this giveaway. If your local library doesn’t have my books, please let me know via the above email address, and I will see what I can do to ensure they obtain a copy.
And thank you, everyone, as always, for your continued readership of this blog. You keep me writing!

Dear Saloma,
I read Why I left the Amish, and Bonnet Strings earlier this month. I thank you for sharing your life with all of us that read books. It was emotionally difficult reading the first book. Tears of sadness and sorrow for the abuse in your family. When I got to Bonnet Strings, my tears were about joy while reading you and David’s love story. I thank God for bringing you two together and I thank him for keeping David persistent. Blessings to you and your family.
Dynnamae, thank you so much for your kind words. I thank God for David’s persistence too… what a different life we would have both had if he hadn’t persisted.
I hardly know how to express in words how much it means to me to read your reaction to my stories. It is for readers like you that I wrote these books. Thank you very much. May you be showered with blessings along the roads you travel.
