More Kindred Connections

In my recent post “Kindred Connections” I wrote about my long-ago and lately rekindled connection to John and Pat Anderson. A friend of Pat Anderson’s named Lynn Kimmerle, recently called me about reviewing my book. She let me know she received a galley copy from my publisher a few days ago, so I thought it would be a while before she would get to reviewing it.  But only two days later (today) she let me know that she reviewed the book on her blog, Monarch Book Reviews. When I read it, I hardly knew what to say. Not only was the review sympathetic, it was also insightful and beautifully written. It is a true compliment and I am very touched.
I love butterflies and everything they symbolize and it feels very fitting that the gorgeous photo of a monarch (taken by Lynn Kimmerle) is right next to my review.
You can visit Monarch Book Reviews to read the review of Why I Left the Amish.

Katie, thank you for reading and commenting on the book review. I can’t wait for my book to come out, either. I’ll have autographed copies for sale from my website just as soon as they’re available.

Nice review! January gives me something to look forward to … when the cold wind is howling outside and my comfy spot is calling me!
