My Speaking Schedule

Today I interrupt my Amish Customs series to announce my speaking schedule. I’ve posted the schedule on my website on the landing page for Liberating Lomie, but I wanted to bring it to your attention here also.

The first two are online, so you can join from anywhere. The other three are in person in Burlington, Vermont; Sunderland, Massachusetts; and Lewiston, Maine, respectively.

The schedule:

Leapchats: Thursday, August 18 at 12:30 PM.

Topic: What is the Price We Pay for Freedom?

To participate, please follow this link, then download the Leapchats App on your cell phone.

Asheville Wisdom Exchange: Wednesday, September 7, at 7:00 PM.

Topic: Choosing Between Belonging and Freedom

To participate, please follow this link and click the purple button to join the Zoom meeting.

The following events require attending in person. In the spirit of caring for ourselves and one another, I highly recommend masking. I will be wearing one when I’m not speaking.

Fletcher Free Library, Burlington, Vermont: Thursday, September 15 at 6:30 PM.

To learn more, please follow this link.

Sunderland Public Library, Sunderland, Massachusetts: Saturday, September 17 at 2:00 PM.

Lewiston Public Library, Lewiston, Maine: Friday, September 23 at 2:00 PM.

For those who have received my book so far, happy reading! The heartwarming responses I’m getting from readers so far are confirming my belief that this book is my most significant writing to date.

And to those who have read my book, please know how much I appreciate when readers write public reviews. It helps spread the word. I’m grateful for any and all help in this effort.

I look forward to seeing you in the audience along the way!

  1. Hi Saloma, Somehow I have not been getting notifications about your blog. Today I got thinking about your new book and thinking it must be coming out soon and when I googled your name I found out it has already been published. I look forward to getting a copy. When I tried to sign up for your blog again the web page wouldn’t let me saying my email is already there. Well I am going to catch up on what I have missed about you.

    1. Michele, I have been missing you! So glad you found me again.

I checked, and your email address is definitely on my list. I suggest checking your spam folder. If there is nothing, then I can remove your email address and you can sign up again to see if that solves the problem.

      Welcome back, Michele!

      1. Hi Saloma, Thanks so much for the friendly reply. I love hearing from you. I did find 3 messages from you in the spam folder — it is the first time I have even looked in there. I will try to remember to check that folder every once in awhile. I don’t want to miss anymore of your posts. I’m looking forward to the book arriving.
        I’m glad I’m back.

  2. Saloma, I meant to write to you a couple of days ago when your book came. I love the way you write and I find I relate to it. Thank you for the sweet inscription. It makes me happy you consider me a friend. We do share much in common. I am looking forward to your blog posts.
    Love, Michele
